:Inspiration
Originally, “cutting hair” was just going to be how I paid for college, but over a decade later, I’ve never enrolled and am very happy behind the chair here. To be inspired, I like to watch the Red Carpet to see what Hollywood and the media find stylish, then I adapt what I see into realistic everyday styles. The last time I was inspired, it was walking through an art fair, seeing the shapes and color contrasts in blown glass vases and bowls. I think it’s important to learn what a client is willing and able to do to their hair and then work a style around that. My goal is to create a style they can reproduce themselves at home on a day-to-day basis. I always pay attention to hair in futuristic/comic book movies so I can bring something new and edgy
